Reminders Before Your
First Digital Ads Campaign

Thank you for outsourcing your digital marketing initiatives to Beeline!  Now that you have finally taken that crucial step, here are some tips and things to remember before your engagement with Beeline officially kicks off.

1. Set SMART campaign objectives

Whether launching a new product or marketing an established brand, you must be clear on your objectives.  Are you running a campaign for Awareness?  For Reach?  For Leads?  The strategies we employ will depend on what you want to achieve.  SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals will also make it easier for us to create a proper plan and track campaign performance.

2. Build your customer persona

Your target customer is at the heart of any marketing campaign we create.  Defining your customer persona is a critical step in campaign planning.  It will define our strategy, messaging, the types of creatives we produce, and the channels we use to reach them.

3. Have a compelling offer

Especially when you are running a Leads Generation campaign, you must ensure that your carrot or hook is enticing enough for the right prospects to leave their information.  You can only do this if your offer truly benefits them and addresses their pain points.

4. The quality of your landing page matters

To put it bluntly, if your landing page sucks, your campaign will not

be effective. Your audience needs to have a seamless experience, from the moment they encounter your ad to after they leave their information on your website.  Your Landing Page should fulfill the promise of your ad. It should be easy to navigate, with the offers and benefits highlighted on the top-fold.   It needs to be a perfect catcher for your leads.  Oh, and don’t forget to add your data privacy notice if you plan to collect customer data!

5. Prep all your materials and base content

Since you’re all set to run an ad campaign, we assume you already have some marketing fundamentals in place.   Please share your branding guidelines with us so we can follow them when we create assets for you.  For social media campaigns, it would be great if you’ve already set up your corporate pages on the social media channel we’ll be using.  Your corporate page should already have optimized Cover Photos, Display Photos, and Profile Photos.

There are a couple of things we want you to remember when running an ad campaign:

1. Digital Marketing is a long game that requires patience

Two to three months is our recommended minimum for running a paid digital campaign.  Depending on your goal, you should also run an evergreen campaign to build credibility.

Note that the first month of the campaign is usually the learning period, both for the ad platform and for the people managing your campaign.  During this period, we learn how your customers behave, which assets they prefer, and what calls-to-action they click on.  From there, we can optimize the campaign using the analytics we gathered.

2. Digital Marketing is not one-size-fits-all

A tactic deployed by one company may not work for your company.  You can’t copy the exact thing a competitor does and expect the same results.  Each business is unique, and your target customers may react differently.  The strategies and plans we create for you are designed to meet your goals and target your customers.

We are so excited to be a part of your journey!  We hope you find these tips helpful.
